Operational Readiness Lead

Overview

The Operational Readiness Lead serves as the public-facing leader and enterprise representative of Operational Readiness for large-scale transformation programs, accountable for ensuring the organization is fully prepared to transition to—and sustain—the future state. This role sets and communicates the Operational Readiness vision, educates stakeholders, navigates the program lifecycle, and clearly articulates the value proposition, target outcomes, and readiness metrics that define success.

The role brings a strong understanding of Investment Management operations, with deep expertise across the end-to-end trade lifecycle—from order capture and execution through confirmation, settlement, accounting, and reporting. This domain knowledge ensures readiness decisions are grounded in how investment operations actually function and that transformation outcomes protect trade integrity, controls, and client service.

Acting as the right-hand partner to the Transformation Lead, the Operational Readiness Lead drives disciplined execution across design, build, test, Day-in-the-Life (DITL), UAT, production-parallel, and Hypercare, ensuring each phase meets defined entrance and exit criteria while minimizing operational risk. The role ensures Operational Readiness is fully integrated into the overall program strategy, aligning operational, technology, data, and business readiness into a single, cohesive delivery model.
