Delivery Manager

1. Overview

We are seeking a Delivery Manager with investment management experience and deep knowledge of the trade lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Front Office and Middle Office systems, with the ability to function as an Execution Manager, Operational Readiness Lead, or Workstream Lead depending on client needs. This role requires someone comfortable working in Waterfall and Agile methodologies who can pivot between frameworks as circumstances demand.

Strong Business Analyst background is essential for this position, as the role requires translating ambiguity into actionable execution plans.

2. Key Responsibilities

Program Execution & Planning

Drive complex programs with multiple end-users, ambiguous requirements, and evolving structures in high-pressure environments. Build realistic timelines by understanding task dependencies and durations, while establishing alternative prioritization strategies based on cost, resource, and timeline trade-offs.

Operational Readiness Leadership

Educate stakeholders, navigate programs, provide vision and direction, and articulate key outcomes and value propositions. Track and communicate statistics demonstrating progress toward outcomes. Ensure Operational Readiness integrates seamlessly into the overall program.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

Work directly with cross-functional and cross-firm teams, partnering with senior leadership on program planning and status reporting. Self-start initiatives to mobilize the right resources and maintain momentum, including orchestrating meetings, communications, and coordination across teams.

Risk & Dependency Management

Proactively identify and escalate risks from capacity constraints, emerging requirements, program impacts, and unforeseen effort. Translate end-user objectives into clear requirements for technical teams while mapping dependencies and assessing team capacity.

Documentation & Reporting

Lead weekly reporting cadence, host forums, and capture actionable next steps. Prepare executive-level status updates that distill detailed program information into clear summaries for leadership review.

Requirements & Backlog Management

Capture requirements into tracking systems (JIRA, etc.) with comprehensive details and maintain current status across all active initiatives. Transform project data into intelligence through metrics, burndown charts, and visualizations that highlight progress and surface areas requiring attention.

Workstream Leadership

Function as Workstream Lead when required, coordinating across multiple delivery streams and ensuring alignment with program objectives. Create logical organizational structures (components, labels, epics) and pull together metrics and tools for leadership visibility.
